About us
Our story, our song
We are Imara Chorale — a choir of young Seventh-day Adventist singers in Kenya, united to inspire and uplift through song.
Who we are
Young voices, one faith
We come from diverse backgrounds — different homes, different stories — and we have found one voice in Christ. Singing together is how we worship, how we encourage each other, and how we share the hope we hold.
What we believe is simple to say and a joy to sing: Jesus is coming again, His grace is sufficient, and a song of praise belongs in every season. Every piece we perform points back to that hope.

Why “Imara”
Firm. Steadfast. Imara.
Imara is Swahili for firm and steadfast — and it is the promise we sing by: Standing Firm In The Faith. Soprano, alto, tenor and bass each carry their own line, and the music happens when they hold together. That is the life we are after too — many voices, one unshaken song.
How we serve
Where our song goes
In concert
We stage full evenings of praise — like our end-of-year concert under the theme “Lifted Voices, United Hearts” and our sundowner alongside fellow ministries. See where we’ve sung.
In worship
Song is ministry before it is performance. We sing in church services and gatherings, leading hearts into worship wherever we are invited.
In community
Between performances we grow together — camps, fellowship, laughter. A choir that prays and plays together sings differently. See the moments.
